Clear seeing

Clairvoyance, also known as ‘clear seeing’, is the ability to receive information in the form of images and symbols. Imagery can appear in several forms, from brief mental pictures of people, places and objects to seeing someone’s aura in the form of a colour or glow.

Being clairvoyant is a privilege. It is an incredibly useful psychic ability that helps people to find closure after the death of a loved one, guides people during difficult life decisions and gives people clarity in distressing times.

While many are born with the gift of clairvoyance, there are ways in which you can strengthen your psychic ability. Everyone has the ability to develop clairvoyance.

Visualisation

This exercise focuses on creating an internal visualisation. It may sound simple, but it can be difficult to master. Practise is essential, so try this exercise daily, even if just for 5 minutes.

  • Sit quietly in a calm space, close your eyes and focus on steady breathing.
  • Imagine a scene in your head – this could be a specific place that you like to relax in or even just a familiar place you see every day. Visualise yourself within that scene and look around you.
  • Next, visualise movement in the scene. Be it birds flying around, people walking by or trees blowing in the wind. If you can, try to speak to someone in that place.
  • Once you have successfully interacted within your space, picture yourself walking away from that scene and returning to the room or place you are currently in, and sitting down to where you are sat, as if your imagined self and real self are merging.

Memory

Improving your memory and paying attention to the details is an important part of clairvoyance. This exercise involves asking a friend or loved one for assistance, but it should not take up too much time.

  • Ask a friend to sift through a room in your house, such as the kitchen or living room, and choose 10-20 items and lay them out on a table. Make sure you are not in the room while this takes place.
  • When you return to the room, study the items laid out on the table and pay close attention to the way the items have been arranged.
  • Leave the room (or simply close your eyes) and picture what was on the table and how it was set up. Feel free to write things down.
  • Return to the room (or open your eyes) and see how you did.

Receiving messages

The ability to receive and understand messages is a crucial part of being clairvoyant. This exercise can be attempted daily to help improve your clairvoyant abilities.

  • Sit in a calm, quiet space, focus on your breathing and close your eyes.
  • Try not to picture a specific scene or place, but rather relax and see whatever appears in your mind.
  • Ask your spirit guides for a message or sign, either within your mind or out loud.
  • Try to focus on any imagery that appears within your mind, be it symbols, colours or numbers. Do not worry if this prompts you to open your eyes.
  • Once you feel that your spirit guides have given you a message, and you are alone in your thoughts, write down what you saw, felt or heard.
