People often ask me how I discovered my psychic abilities

Although I find it quite hard to pinpoint one particular occurrence of my paranormal powers coming to the fore,

I do remember a significant experience that opened up my awareness on Christmas Eve back when I was 10 years old.

My brother, Lewis and I were allowed to stay up and wait for my dad to come home from work to say merry Christmas and goodnight.

It was cold and dark and he was home much later than usual.

As we sat watching nonsense on the TV and eating chocolate I heard my dad’s voice calling for help as if from behind a wall.

I remember I jumped up and rushed to the door expecting to see him entering the house but he wasn’t there.

Instead, the flash of a scene played out before me against the black.

It was an image of my dad in a busy clinical setting with lots of noise and people rushing about.

My mum came to get me and asked me why I was staring at the front door. “It’s dad, he’s in the hospital,” I recall the words leaving my mouth but it was almost as though I had no control over them, they just sort of tumbled out.

child of the universeMoments, perhaps only a couple of seconds after I had uttered them the hallway phone began to ring and sure enough it was my dad on the other end of the line.

He had been involved in a car accident after losing control of the car on an icy patch of road and crashed into a lamppost.

No one had been hurt but the doctors had checked him over and he was going to have to wear a brace having suffered minor whiplash.

My mother was in shock as she put down the phone and she had to sit on the stairs to take it all in, it wasn’t just because my dad was in hospital but because I had predicted it.

It wasn’t until I went to University that these abilities began to resurface, I had buried them deep within me.

After talking at length with a girl called Kelly in my halls of residence about lucid dreaming, I began to explore that inner world I had pushed into the background.

It was a very enlightening experience and after that Kelly and I set up the student ESP group that dealt with all things paranormal.

Although the group evoked controversy we found that within a few months we had amassed a healthy group of followers and potential therapists and were able to apply for backing from the Students Union, which, we were awarded.

Often controversy is fear of one’s curiosity. I am proud of what we achieved at University and the opportunity it gave me to reconnect with my abilities.

Nowadays, I am a medium and psychic who also teaches people how to access Out of Body Experiences (OBE).

When I begin a session I move through my third eye into a loose trance-like state, I call this falling into a vision and that is exactly what the sensation of crossing into and assuming a psychic state feels like to me.

It’s like going over the top of a rollercoaster and landing in the fall. So I always know when it’s coming and I am lucky enough to have learned how to initiate and control each journey, what I can’t always tell is where it will take me.
